How to install and use the Pearson WIAT-III A&NZ Stimulus Book on Coviu

Coviu has partnered with Pearson Clinical to provide a fully integrated, digital version of the Wechsler Individual Achievement Test - Australian and New Zealand Standardised, Third Edition (WIAT-III A&NZ) stimulus book.

  • This App is available to all Coviu plans.
  • If you are on a custom Enterprise plan, please speak to your organisation Telehealth Coordinator or your Coviu account representative about having this tool added to your account.
  • To add this tool to your Coviu account, you must be a Coviu account administrator.

What is WIAT-III A&NZ?

How do I install and configure WIAT-III?

  1. Log in to your Coviu account as you normally would. If you do not yet have an account, you can sign up here.
  2. Click APPS in the left hand menu (if you cannot see the Apps menu, then you are not the Administrator for your Account)




  3. Then click the Find APPS button. This will take you to Coviu’s App Marketplace. 
  4. Once in the marketplace, find the WIAT-III A&NZ App and follow the prompts to install it.




  5. Return to your Coviu account.

How do I Configure the WIAT-III App?

To finish setting up, you will need to enter your Pearson Member ID to activate it.

  1. Enter your Coviu account as you normally would.
  2. Click APPS in the left hand menu. (If you cannot see Apps, you are not the Administrator for your account)
  3. Scroll down under your installed Apps to find the WIAT-III.
  4. Click Details on the right hand side.
  5. Click the Configure tab and enter your Pearson member ID.
  6. Before saving, you will see 3 check boxes asking for:
    • Consent for Pearson to view your Pearson customer number and Coviu account details in order to confirm your eligibility to deliver Pearson tests.
    • Consent for Pearson to potentially contact you to ask about your experience with Pearson tests on Coviu.
    • Acknowledge that you meet Pearson's requirements as a licensed practitioner and agree to their terms and conditions.
    • We kindly ask you tick all provided you agree and that they apply to you.
  7. Click Save. You have now installed and configured the WIAT-III App.

How do I use the WIAT-III App?

  1. Enter your call with client as you normally would.
  2. Once in the call, click the Tools+ button on the top right part of the screen.
  3. Scroll down the Tools menu and click on the WIAT-III A&NZ Digital Stimulus Books button.
  4. If you would like to lock the Tools+ menu so your client can't access it during the assessment, tick the Make tools view-only for guests tick box at the top of the menu, or visit this help article for more information.

  5. You can now begin your assessment. 
    • To navigate between pages, select the section you want to display from the dropdown menu, or click the arrows in the tool bar to change the page number. 
    • When the assessed child clicks items on the page, you will see the numbered, tracked markers to review their interactions.

What if I need to Uninstall it?

Follow these instruction if you wish to uninstall the WIAT-III Apps.

  1. Log into you Coviu account as you normally would.
  2. Click APPS in the left hand menu (if you can't see the Apps menu, then you are not the account administrator)
  3. Scroll down to find the WIAT-III App in the list.
  4. Click the Details button.
  5. Click the red UNINSTALL button.
  6. Click the second UNINSTALL button to confirm the action.
