How to install and use the Pearson CELF-5 A&NZ stimulus book on Coviu

Coviu has partnered with Pearson Clinical, to provide a fully integrated digital CELF-5 A&NZ stimulus book.

  • To install the CELF-5 App, you will need to be a Coviu Clinic Administrator.
  • If you are on one of our customised Enterprise plans, speak to your Telehealth Coordinator or Coviu Account representative about having CELF-5 installed to your account.


You must use an original CELF-5 A&NZ paper record form for every assessment undertaken via Coviu. You'll also need the following materials to be able to administer and score the CELF-5 A&NZ via Coviu:

  • Examiner’s Manual (either hard copy or via q-global)
  • Verbal Stimuli
  • Digital Examiner’s Manual or;
  • Examiner's Manual.

How can I find my Pearson Member ID?

  1. You would have received an email from Pearson which includes your Pearson Member ID
  2. Reach out to Pearson on Live-chat (‘Chat with an expert pop-up box’ ) located on the bottom right-hand side of their website

How do I install the CELF-5 App?

Follow these instructions to install the App:

  1. Log in to your Coviu account as you normally would. If you do not yet have an account, you can sign up here.
  2. Click Apps in the left hand menu.
  3. Then click the Find Apps button. This will take you to Coviu’s App Marketplace. Alternatively, you can click here to be taken directly to the App.
  4. Click the Install button and follow the prompts to install it.
  5. Return to your Coviu account when you are done.

How do I configure the CELF-5 App?

To finish setting up, you will need to enter your Pearson Member ID to activate the App.

  1. Enter your Coviu account as you normally would.
  2. Click Apps in the left hand menu.
  3. Scroll down under your installed Apps to see the CELF-5 A&NZ.
  4. Click Details on the right hand side.
  5. Click the Configure tab and enter your Pearson member ID.
  6. Before saving, you will see 3 check boxes asking for:
    • Consent for Pearson to view your Pearson customer number + Coviu account details in order to confirm your eligibility to deliver Pearson tests.
    • Consent for Pearson to potentially contact you to ask about your experience with Pearson tests on Coviu.
    • Acknowledge that you meet Pearson's requirements as a licensed practitioner and agree to their terms and conditions.
    • We kindly ask you tick all provided you agree and that they apply to you.
  7. Click Save. You have now installed and configured the CELF-5 App.

How do I use the CELF-5 App?

Follow these instructions to install the App: 

  1. Log into Coviu as you normally would and enter your call.
  2. Click the Tools+ menu button and then click the CELF-5 A&NZ Digital Stimulus Book.CELF-5 A&NZ button
  3. You can now begin your assessment.Call Assessment
  4. To navigate between pages, select the section you want to display from the dropdown menu, or click the arrows in the tool bar to change the page number.

  5. When your client clicks items on the page, you will see the numbered, tracked markers to review their interactions.
  6. To clear the markers, click the icon with a person outline and an ‘x’ displayed.

      What if I need to uninstall the CELF-5 App?

      Follow these instruction if you wish to uninstall the CELF-5 App.

      1. Log into you Coviu account as you normally would.
      2. Click Apps in the left hand menu
      3. Scroll down to find the CELF-5 App in the list.
      4. Click the Details button.
      5. Click the red Uninstall button.
      6. Click the second Uninstall button to confirm the action.
