Enterprise - How to Send Messages to Users on your Platform

This article describes how to use the Message Hub to send messages to all users or a select group of users on your Enterprise platform.

TIPS:

  • The Message Hub feature is only available to customers on our custom Enterprise plans.
  • The Message Hub is not a two-way communications tool. It is designed to send bulk messages to users on your platform.
  • The Message Hub does not send messages to your client/patient.

What is the Message Hub?

The Message Hub is a great feature for getting information out to the users of your Coviu Enterprise platform!

There is no restriction on the type of information so what you send, is up to you. You could be advertising a new service your organisation is offering, changes to regulations around the services you offer or, a new Coviu feature you think your staff might find useful.


Who can send messages?

You will need to be an Administrator to be able to send messages.

In a Coviu Enterprise platform, there are three levels and Administrators can exist on each of those levels. See below for a visual representation of the how a platform can be strucured.

  • Platform Administrators - will be able to send messages to select groups of users or all users on the platform.
  • Organisation Administrators - will be able to send messages to select clinics or all users within the Organisation.
  • Clinic Administrators - will be able to send messages to all Users within their clinic.

How do I send a message?

Getting to the messaging interface will change a little bit depending on your role, but the interface remains the same.

At the Platform level:

Click the Messages option in the left hand menu.

At the Organisation level:

Click the three dots to the right of one of the Organisations then click CReate Message. NOTE: If you wan to send to ALL clinics in your Organisation, you will be able to choose more in the message interface)

At the Clinic level:

Click the Messages (Bell symbol) option in the menu bar then click the CREATE MESSAGE button.


Creating Your Message:

Once you have entered the messaging interface, you will see tha you have a variety of options available to you depending on your Admin level.

  1. Choose your audience - As a platform administrator, you will see the toggle at the top to send to all users on the platform, otherwise, you will be able to choose an Organisation or a Clinic to send to. You can also choose more than one Organisation or Clinic.
  2. Type Your Message Title:
    1. Add a catchy title. Up to 70 characters.
  3. Type your Message Body:
    1. Add your information to the boy of the message. You can aso add URL's to websites in this field. Up to 1000 characters.
  4. Click SEND when you're ready.


How do I know what messages have been sent?

As a platform administrator you will be able to see all messages sent by any administrator on the platform.

You can access the messages from the Messages menu in the left hand menu.

You will also be able to filter messages by Organisation or Clinic.

Find the Message you wish to open and click the VIEW button to see more information.
