This article describes how you can add Coviu Phone to your Coviu account and apply for a phone number to be provisioned.

Note:
- The Coviu Phone feature is available to customers who are on the following plans:
- Standard
- Premium
- Enterprise
- Not sure what plan you are on? Click here to find out.
- If you are on a custom Enterprise plan, please speak to your organisation's Telehealth Coordinator or your Coviu account representative about having this feature set up.
- To set up the Coviu Phone, you need to be the Coviu account Owner or Administrator.

The requirements to get your Coviu Phone number
To receive your very own Coviu phone number, identification verification and specific documentation is required for approval - just like getting a phone number from a Mobile Service Provider or Internet Service Provider.
You will be asked to submit a digital copy of an official document to start the process. One document must be of the Commercial register type. Multiple documents cannot be of the same type. Below are examples of the best documents to submit:
- (Required) A business register extract (e.g. an Australian Business Register):
- (Optional - only if your clinic or practice address is not listed in the business register) Utility bill, Tax notice, Rent receipt or Title deed with your organisation's logo and/or information included:

- Please ensure that the submitted document is clear and complete, making sure that all of the text is readable and that no edges of the document are cropped out (like the one shown below).
- The approval process can take up to 3-4 days to complete. Please feel free to contact our friendly Support team if you have any questions or queries before submitting your Coviu Phone number request.
How to apply for a Coviu Phone number (AU)
- Log into your Coviu account as per usual.
- Scroll down on the left side menu of the Dashboard and click Configure (if you can't see the Configure button, then you are not the account Administrator).
- Click the Phone Setup tab.
- Fill out the required information in order to attain a Coviu Phone number. Please ensure that the Business ID number, Business name and Business address match what is on your Commercial register. Under Supporting documentation, please ensure that you attach/submit a copy of a Commercial register (as shown here). One document must be of the Commercial register type. Multiple documents cannot be of the same type. Failure to do so will delay the approval process.
Note: You do not need to supply any other supporting documentation (e.g. Utility bill, Rent receipt, Company letterhead, etc.) unless your clinic or practice address is not listed in your Commercial register. - Please double-check that the information you have provided is correct and accurate as false or incorrect information will delay the approval process.
- Once you have completed the form to the best ability, ensuring that everything is correct and accurate, click Initiate Phone Setup.
- Your Coviu Phone number request will update to Active request in Progress, which means that your request has now been sent to Coviu and is pending approval.
- At this stage, you need to go to Configure > Phone Setup to check the status of your Coviu Phone number request (no email communication is available for this).
Note: The Active request in Progress status can last up to 3-4 days.
For our US customers:
How to get your Coviu Phone number (US)
- Log into your Coviu account as per usual.
- Scroll down on the left side menu of the Dashboard and click Configure (if you can't see the Configure button, then you are not the account Administrator).
- Click the Phone Setup tab.
- Fill out the required information in order to attain a Coviu Phone number.
- Please double-check that the information you have provided is correct and accurate.
- Once you have completed the form to the best ability, ensuring that everything is correct and accurate, click Initiate Phone Setup.
- Congratulations! The provisioning is complete and your Coviu Phone number will be shown to you under Setup complete.
