How to Set Your Clinic Waiting Area Hours

This article describes how to set the operational hours for your Clinic Waiting Area.

  • These instructions apply to the virtual Waiting Area which is a feature available on these plans:
    • Standard (also our Trial plan)
    • Premium
    • Enterprise

Setting your timezone

You can set the operational hours for your Coviu Clinic Waiting Area(s) to ensure that a client or patient cannot access the Waiting Area outside of your operational hours.

To set your time zone and operational hours, follow the instructions below:

  1. Enter your Coviu account as you normally would and access the clinic you wish to set the hours for.
    • If you are on our Premium or older Clinic plans, you will generally only have one Clinic. 
    • If you are on our Enterprise plan, choose the Clinic you wish to set up.
  2. Click Configure in the menu on the left.
  3. Click the Waiting Area tab.
  4. Click the drop down arrow next General Configuration.
  5. Scroll down to Time zone and choose your time zone.
  6. Click Save.

Setting your operating hours

  1. From the same menu, scroll down and click the drop down arrow next to Waiting Area Hours.
  2. Click the on/off toggle to the left of each day ensuring a green tick for those days you want active.
  3. Choose the hours relevant to each day.
  4. Add a break if necessary.
  5. Ensure you click Save when done.

Once complete, your Operating Hours will update accordingly.
